Welcome to the Fond of Faebles Review Policy page. As a book reviewer and content creator, my entire brand is dedicated to bookish content, reading, and reviews.My primary social media platform is Instagram. My primary review site is Goodreads.Reviews posted on addition sites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble available upon request.I am willing to provide links to past reviews on Amazon or Barnes & Noble upon request for publishers.Handle for all social medias is @fondoffaebles. I only have accounts on the following social medias: Instagram, Goodreads, Fable, Storygraph, Booksirens, Netgalley, and a Tumblr account being phased out in the near future.

Dedicated posts

I provide a minimum of three dedicated posts via Instagram for all novels I receive in any form. Explanation of the minimum posts I provide and examples of past dedicated posts, featured below.๐Ÿ ๐“๐ก๐š๐ง๐ค ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ ๐จ๐ซ ๐€๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ: Tagging all relevant parties, featuring the novel, and willing to post important information in the caption if preferred. Such as release date, page count, genre, publisher, etc.
๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐ข ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ฐ: A โ€˜quick to click throughโ€™ and โ€˜easy to consumeโ€™ review style. This post features a book blurb, what I liked about the novel, tropes, and a simplistic rating featuring if I would recommend the novel or continue reading the series if the novel is a part of one.
๐Ÿ ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ž๐ฐ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ: This is my primary review post format on Instagram featuring the novels cover, tropes, release date, whom sent the novel, page count, a rating/spice level, and a summary of my opinions on the novel. I do add the authorโ€™s social media handle to the bottom of the last post for this format without tagging them to redirect readers genuinely interested in the novel directly to the author.I ๐ƒ๐Ž ๐๐Ž๐“ tag authors in reviews whether they are positive or negative as reviews are more for readers than the authors. If I am required to show proof of a review to a Publisher, PR/Book Tour Company, or Author/Personal Assistant via a form or page I do not mind doing so. Despite being sent a novel I will ๐€๐‹๐–๐€๐˜๐’ remain transparent and give my authentic, honest feelings about the novel without being disrespectful.These posts are the minimum I do provide via Instagram, not including if the novel is featured in other posts. Other posts novel may be featured in are โ€œWhat I Am Currently Readingโ€, โ€œReading Progressโ€, โ€œNovels I Read This Monthโ€, etc. There is always a possibility of including novels in additional posts that are not necessarily for the purpose of a review. I will always tag authors in those additional posts if requested.This is just what posts are provided via my primary social media profile, Instagram. I will always provide a long form review via Goodreads, my primary review site, prior to making posts via Instagram within the given deadline if applicable. I will also provide reviews via other websites such as: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, with the addition of reviews via Storygraph and Fable in the future as I am getting used to Storygraph and Fable specifically at the moment. Unless requested or required I will always post reviews to Goodreads first, then any additional review sites.
